Got them back. Took these on a cloudy day.
They look better in person. Doesn't show well but the centers are all gloss black PC except the outer flat edges.
I went with polished instead of chroming. This is a compromise idea. I like full polish but not the upkeep. All black centers don't have enough "flash", so this works for me. I can easy enough reach the polished areas if I need to buff them up a little. I'll try to heed the polishers advice and always keep a coat of wax on the polished sections. He said the shine will stay if I keep it up. Much easier to apply light wax coats now and then than get out the mothers and do it by hand or drill motor. He said to use Turtle wax in "the yellow can".
The wheels were done by Astro's in North Hollywood. $600 total. The design was fairly labor intensive to mask/detail. So it cost more than just all black centers and polished outer edges.
