Got my wheels and header back.

Got them back. Took these on a cloudy day.
They look better in person. Doesn't show well but the centers are all gloss black PC except the outer flat edges.
I went with polished instead of chroming. This is a compromise idea. I like full polish but not the upkeep. All black centers don't have enough "flash", so this works for me. I can easy enough reach the polished areas if I need to buff them up a little. I'll try to heed the polishers advice and always keep a coat of wax on the polished sections. He said the shine will stay if I keep it up. Much easier to apply light wax coats now and then than get out the mothers and do it by hand or drill motor. He said to use Turtle wax in "the yellow can".
The wheels were done by Astro's in North Hollywood. $600 total. The design was fairly labor intensive to mask/detail. So it cost more than just all black centers and polished outer edges.

The header. Got it done at X-treme coatings in Oxnard. $100 bucks, inside and out. Took a week to get back. Nice, helpful people.

Those parts are absolutely gorgeous! They did a REALLY good job-your bike's gonna really come alive with those!Good Pics!So on the wheels-the "inside" of the spokes are black? The "outside"(not the part facing us)polished? And the very center where the spokes attach to the rim, that's black? Also KAK,what are those two "holes" in the front wheel spokes? That's how I'd like mine done as well-looks great!

Thanks. I guess I could have taken the pic at more of an angle to show the wheels black parts better.
The centers, or spokes are gloss black except for the parts that face directly out. It may still be some work to keep shined but not near as much if they were fully polished. And with the rotors on you can't even touch your finger on some areas let alone polish them so I came up with this.
The 2 holes you see, I don't know what they're for but I made a note for re-assembly that they are the left side. The directional arrows and some numbers and symbols were also there but they were polished out. The hub is slightly different on each side. The area that the rotor sits on is a little deeper on one side than the other. I made sure they masked that off but after installing the rotor a small strip of hub was still exposed, not PC'd. Didn't see that coming. No big deal but I had no choice but to touch it up with paint. Going out the door so I can't explain fully right now.

Nicely done.

Are the headers black chrome or is that the overcast? They look great.

Thanks for the replies.
Doug, that's not my rodent, uh, snake food, uh, dog. Just saw him at a ride last year. I have to wonder if the dog really likes it or is just made to go along? I hope it's the former.
JDC, X-treme calls it Ceramichrome. It's just the overcast. It's basically like others who call theirs "Sterling", etc.
Basically silver with some shine. Allen at X-treme said it can be buffed out and get pretty shiny but it's way too hard to get in there to upkeep so I'm happy with it as is. I actually wanted gloss black but it apparently doesn't exist. Semi gloss black I'm told will turn grayish in areas over time and I thought that would look bad so I went with silver as most everyone does. I liked the idea of the black bodywork surrounding the black header to make the header sort of blend in and be obscure.
