Rode my bike home 70 miles from the dealership with a herniated disc in 35 degree weather. It was 2 months before I could ride it again, so I had some time to kill.

No, I pretty much know how to deal with a motorcycle. Need the owners manual for torque specs, adjustment tolerences (chain slack in particular), and such. Also good for some fine points, like "where exactly are the headlight adjusters at?". Some things in an owners manual I've found to be somewhat screwy. How much oil to put in a Hayabusa after a change including filter for example. Book says something like 3100ml, but that will just barely get it to the bottom of the sight glass window. 3800ml, or around a full gallon is the accepted amount to use, which will bring it to the top of the window where it stays for 3000 miles.
I use the owners manual for the things i need to know, and that's about it. But then, I peel ALL the warning stickers off my bike, and remove the reflectors as soon as I get it home.
