JTEMPLE:::Ok, so I've had the flash for a little while with the OEM exhaust, and was very happy.
Saturday, I installed an Alienhead 2 and wow. The bike runs perfectly. With the PAIR plug, there is almost no deceleration pop, just a slight burble now and again.
"WITH THE PAIR PLUG"...DOES IT MATTER IF I HAD THE PAIR PLUG OR NOT WITH A CBLAST, NOT SURE IF I HAD MINES DONE

Wassup people. Obviously I run the Fabulous CBlast flash. I love the flash. the bike has an aggressive personality. I run the M4 retro drag slip ons, and Melinda is a popping machine on decel. Between 4k-3k. I kinda like the popping. Dam bike sounds like a raging racing machine! it gurgles a little bit on the decel and then right around 3500 sometimes a nice pop comes out. Sometimes I fuck with the throttle just to make it pop.

I have the exact same pop at the exact same spot Smat, sounds good I always think if I'm de-celin hard. Good flowing headers with open mufflers gives a little love. I get some nice flames on overrev once in awhile!

Same here with the CT Meg. Burbles on decel with some popping and flames if I'm coming down hard.

We flash for the AFR that delivers the best performance. When just cruising mpg will slightly increase and low power mode will deliver very efficient operation.

Well I finally bit the bullet and got my ecu flashed and I am impressed. Idles more smoothly, more eager to rev, more compliant when riding, sounds better, and even the exhaust smells better. And there is a noticeably improvement in the low and mid range. This is the way the bike should have been when it left the factory. Great tune!!

Vic, I think I wrinkled his feathers. I don't blame him to argue about me trying to figure out a Ctune. I mean, wouldn't you? So I can't tell and who cares about my opinion: when I'm after something completely different.
Don't listen to me, listen to the happy seats.

Hub I wouldn't assume that unless it was explicitly stated by CBlast. It'd be like if I left you saying the same thing (or vice versa), just because in the past we've not been friendly. Cblast is a business operator and family man. He's got a big plate, I won't go into any further details as that's his business. It could've just as easily been a business decision or personal one. My extremely wild guess is it was either a business decision, or something to do with his family.
It's unfortunate Cblast left. He's a helluva great guy, a business man, a family man, has motorcycling knowledge equal or greater to anyone else here at this site. For all the gruff he got sometimes, he maintained his 3 Cs and really successfully handled the situations.
So if you read this CBlast, or if you don't, I'm hoping all the best for you, your family, and your business. Peace and God Bless. BTW I'm still gonna get CBlasted... just waiting for the right time (it's close...)

I've read this thread from the start. It is quite informative, very impressive.
Cblast's explanations are quite logical and appear well-grounded in facts & demonstrations. I have read Hub's counter arguments, I find them difficult to follow and in some cases, not grounded in fact - more of a foggy rambling. It's pretty clear these gentlemen have some differences, maybe one more than the other. Just my impressions. I'm new to this, but I thought I would give Cblast some positive endorsement, and from what I've read, it appears well-deserved.
It is disconcerting that Cblast has dropped out. I wish him well & hope he is OK.
I am planning to get my ecu reflashed by Cblast, more in late spring than now. This forum seems to be the only means to get in touch with Cblast. I searched for a company website but was unable to find one. Would anyone know the company website address?
Cheers,
Johnny.

There will always be differences of opinion between people.
It's just life and that will never change.
But as long as its kept respectful it's all good.
This site is all about information and opinions, agreement and disagreement, and general banter of all kinds.
All should feel comfortable challenging and defending what they believe.
Let's hope all of that never stops.
I was disappointed when Hub was gone for a while and greatful when he returned.
Heck, I even told Hub to piss off at one stage in the past but retracted it and apologized when I realized I was out of line.
I am also disappointed with Cblast's absence but hopefully he will return very soon.
There are strong words sometimes passed on this forum to get a point across or blow off steam.
But the vast majority of the time nothing personal is intended.
So come on Cblast, how about it? I'm sure even Hub wants you back.
Though who knows how Hub's mind works?

A Modest guy. Thanks C for that armed service. I am more after a good argument than dishing shit out. I did not make it personal as if yannih thought it was personal as if you think your bike problem becomes personal to me? Lets get it fixed and keep your drama on your side, I'm going to make someone laugh and not think about the past say.
That's my act and I'm sticking to it.

I'm inclined to agree with Carabuser and Vic.
Sebastian isn't the type of man that is ruffled. Not easily, not ever. I've spent a fair amount of time around some badass motherfuckers in my lines of work and play, and Sebastian ranks up there with the saltiest dogs I know.
His time off most certainly has to do with the family he loves or his passion for tuning fast motorcycles, not some pissant internet troll with a penchant for oblique commentary.

You're right Vic. I made a senior assumemoment. Page 3 says I stimulated his thinking and that's why a free banner is down, business is good, I'm not around... does that seem strange or what?

Turn around and you'll see Lots of members with lots of family and lots of passion for speed and what's your point?

My point is that you're far more inconsequential than your narcissism would lead you to believe.
