I see your point and Yes it does. Like the 14R and As all things new we must start at the beginning and find out how they perform. With or without mods.

You must admit, this is a groundbreaking machine that will go down in history as the baddest production bike ever produced by Kawi. Time will write new pages for this continued story but for now this bike is truly Bad Ass and I'm loving It.

Besides this gives us something New to brag up or complain about depending your point of view. For the last two years almost every thread is 14R Flash Talk. Exciting as that was back in 2012 kinda grows old after going into the 3 year of everyone describing the same thing differently.

H2 On The Scene Is A Welcomed Blessing. Flash talk here will be more exciting. We now have throttle by wire. Changes made in the flash are going to yield 80 plus Horse Power Gains. Wow ! how can this Not excite everyone. Lol, Now We Are Cooking with Gas. I'm pumped can't wait.

Not to play devil's advocate here...but WHY is this bike so special really?So a flash will up the figures.That's not special.The 14 with flash and boost or whatever hits the H2 levels...easily.Right?I like your present feelings on the h2 Romes.I feel this way also.But in reality,IS this new bike all that?I like it for what it is as is.But I'm probably NOT in the majority.I think lots of guys were disappointed that the H2 didn't perform like the H2R.I'm okay with it.I didn't expect it to.But the stock H2 street version,is it really that exceptional?

Yes A boosted 14 will have little trouble reaching those Dyno #'s with the torque to crush. Most certainly will not go around corners like the H2.

Of course they were. Being teased with a 300hp bike, then to find out you must spend 25,000 and your bike will have 100 hp less is quite the slap. Now all who know this bike also know H2 has all capabilities of the H2R and will be on the road to get back what the bike was always meant to be.

Learning the planetary gear system is the same in both bikes is a huge relief.

Learning Throttle by wire is Adjusted in the flash Also huge relief. Maps are all there, corks out please.

Looks like Don Guhl has you guys sorted already, with more to come. Air Box mods will soon follow, power will go up again. Going to be a fun build for all you guys. Like I said earlier, you're days of talking 8hp gains are behind you now. So get ready to HanG On ! Riding a lightweight 270 hp bike in and out of the turns will have it's own surprises. Wheelie at will.

My first sc(or boosted)bike ever.I've got my flashed 14R...that's pretty strong when I want it to be.Guess this H2 will be a very different feel?Flash from Don...should be fine?I've NO idea what to expect.

I don't hate the H2, it's just 28 pages of Navel Gazing that makes me bite on a reed. But, you are totally right the flash threads have swept well past 27 posts. I'd offer the explanation that many here will want to keep the 14 and 14r naturally aspirated and with this in mind the flash becomes a significant topic. Folks who keep the 14r NA might do so because of costs (building, maintaining, engine mods etc…), re-sale value (buy high sell low) and perhaps the "living with mentality." I never liked Turbos (no secret), I've always thought NA tune was the way to go (perhaps with NOS).
So far this is the zx14 forum and the H2 is quite a cool machine. If I could order the engine and put it in my 12r I'd be very happy. But the looks of the H2 is as u folks said, "not for everyone," and I belong to the camp.

Be honest I just check this thread and topic because I keep hoping for Green and his selfie. I want to see that Mile wide grin through his helmet.

When the H2 gets a face lift with ergos that fit me and comes with a street version that makes 275 hp. I will reach for my wallet. Till then. No thank u. I just hope I don't die chasing these rocket chariots.

My bike runs exactly the same as yours,(stock compression). Only difference is when I stab the throttle I'm gone. What's not to like ? If you're thinking building a 100 shot NOS bike won't bite you in the Ass,,,,, well that would be a mistake.

Any time you take a motor and bump it up over 20% of what it was rated for the Grim Reaper is Focused directly on you.

The H2 was purpose built for 300 plus. On board sensors always watching for knock, bad gas etc. In case of any issue, timing and power gets pulled. If any one sensor says "hey" something not right, safety in play. Bike was built with boost in mind.

Our bikes have No Fail safe for Boost or Nos. Your tuner is all you have. Hope he gets it perfect or,,,, Booom. A month down the road Bike changes in anyway Boom. We get Zero warning. Just Boom.

I think boost is the future. More and manufactures are turning to smaller motors with Boost in play. Making more power and torque early in the RPM window then there big brother the V8. Better gas mileage to boot.

Yeah for sure it will be awesome! I actually just traded my V in for a 2015 SRT8 Jeep....I was a little sad but between the winters being so bad, my son and I starting to race dirt bikes and track days on my 10R I thought it would be best to have all wheel drive and be able to tow our trailer....I just picked it up last sat. I have to say its pretty darn nice. :) I was all set to by the new V but my street bike will always be way faster so I decided to make the adult choice! lol

True, I haven't mounted an unattractive female philistine either, but I don't prefer them either? Does that mean I can't gage an opinion?

For us normal humans, 6000 plus on a Turbo Kit is a big commitment. And after dropping this - the bikes value does not reflect this investment. So to go fast IE 300hp on Nos at less than half the price, is quite appealing. A turbo bike can kaboom just as fast as a NOS bike. Case in point two 14's went boom this summer. The Grim Reaper has his eyes trained on you boys - not me.

I am going to do springs, pistons and rods this year. I've bought a whole bunch of NOS equipment, I am defiantly following the path.

Ps my car is a TURBO. There is turbo lag and other conditions I don't like. I also like the torque numbers. You boys are on the TURBO path, I think I'm sticking to NOS!
