eh-hem-- you might want to think it out real carefully before you pull the divorce card. Child Support will probably cost you a lot more than an H2 and you'll pay for half of her attorney fees until you split assets....and then you still have to pay for your own.

Actually, if you don't have kids and you use one lawyer, that shouldn't amount to nearly as much as an H2. You probably spend more on tires every year.

Turbo Kit is a big commitment. And after dropping this - the bikes value does not reflect this investment.

I am going to do springs, pistons and rods this year. I've bought a whole bunch of NOS equipment, I am defiantly following the path.

Wolf pretty sure you just Lumped yourself in with "You Boys". Not Me ? Oh ya you, 100 shot is most definitely you as well. NOS eats All pistons, aftermarket just means they cost more to replace. Tune goes off BOOM ! Gaskets Boom Injectors off Boom. Many possible causes just like us.

All others who were here that I knew ran NOS eventually took it off. None I knew had built a full NOS bike. Danny said he was running 80 but last I heard BOOOM ! Could be wrong, maybe ask him to set you up. Cliff has 60 shot but every time I see him the bottles are empty or not hooked up. You Do Know NOS is illegal in Ontario ? They catch you bike gone. My brother car has 2 X 20lb bottles in the trunk, he lives in constant fear. Always hiding. Major Turn Off.

So to go fast IE 300hp on Nos at less than half the price, is quite appealing.

Not for the Full NOS bike you are talking about wolf. As you are clearly about to find out. That build with Dyno time won't be cheap.

All this makes No difference if it's what you like. If NOS is your game, have fun with it. Comes down to personal preference. I am hoping you follow through with it. I would love to try it.

Wolf my point in the last thread was clearly missed. Had nothing to do with the above. Was more to say the H2was built for Boost Safely. That's what makes it sweeeeeeet. I'll try to explain another way.

There have been some posted concerns about the ability of this engine to withstand the additional power if it is fully derestricted. The biggest posted concern was the additional boost with the (very) slightly higher compression and cam variance, causing the engine to self destruct or melt down.

I do not share those concerns. As previously stated, this ECU is a completely new generation of technology compared to the ZX10R and ZX14R ECUs.

No one has really talked about the fact that the H2s have knock sensor feedback systems. These systems are in place to protect the engine from these types of failures. We dug into the ECU code to figure out how this feedback system worked.

What we found was very interesting! If the system detects knock, it will continuously retard the ignition timing (to a point) until the knocking subsides, then add it back slowly as long as there are no more knock events.

There is also contingency code in the event of an extended knock event where there is still knock detected after all of the timing is pulled. This contingency will then close the throttles to protect the engine.

These bikes are a Bad Bad investment....
Not true, naturally aspirated with some goodies still fetch a good price. Parted goodies, sold separately from a stock bike still fetch a decent return. A turbo bike, or turbo kit is a niche market, I am a bit trepidacious about getting a turbo, who would I sell it to?

Riding NOS on the street, beyond my talent level...
A progressive controlled and balls ought to sort out that issue.

Talk to Danny at Champions for NOS- yes, I'd rather lather my body against a cheese grinder before I speak to him about anything to do with my 14. Mitch is my choice. Google Danny at Champions and see the nightmare postings from dissatisfied customers.

Yes I got it. I always thought the 14r is better suited for NOS vrs Boost. Just an opinion. You can ride Veridis anytime you like. Switching up is going to be fun and awesome. You bet, I'm in!

As for expense. 6000 turbo I did not even calculate pistons, springs and rods into that mix. I'm running rods, pistons and springs with NOS at less the price.

I dont know if i ever mentioned this but I spoke with a cop and asked him if nitrous was illegal... he said "Ugh... im not 100% sure. I wouldnt even be able to tell you where to look even if I knew you had it." So unless you show them under your seat are they really ever going to find it or suspect you of having it?? Highly doubt it.

Nitrous is cool and all.... but I dont know of many Nitrous ZX-14r's in TO. The turbo 14 family is pretty large and you have seen what can/cannot be done.

Like Romans said.... it WOULD be great to see a 100 shot 14r in action on the street... it would be one of probably very few in Ontario. It will give you that "this makes my bike stand out from the rest" feeling... which is what I like. Lets face it.... there's a stock built 14r turbo pushing the limits, a not so stock built 14r pushing the limits, and a 14 turbo with an identity crisis. It would be neat to see you with something new & different.

Fazer, I think I remember you saying you enjoyed your spray set up on the Suzi. I think you're right I don't want to follow the herd, I'd prefer to stand out, do something different. When u posted the Vid of the 14r on spray running against the turbo Busa, I was convinced. At the end of the day, a bike making 300hp is a cool bike, regardless of the engine work. One thing I learned from you and Beast, is set it up properly. Do the engine work necessary before boost or spray. Build it right the first time.

As for NITROS as a popo magnet, yep sure would like to conceal it well. Some of our friends in law enforcement are savvy about bike mods, some have no clue, that's a good point. I ran my 14r on slick tires last summer and had a cop at bike night check it our and just walk on by. Few of them, know what's legal and what's not. Let's just hope we attract the ones that are not in the know.

Interested in doing some track runs this summer too.

Lol, I always wondered why Brocks Dyno reads so much higher. Could have sworn that Flash made 242 hp ? The boys playing with the scales again. Some Fun does Brock Flash make more power or is this a Game of Dyno scales. Big numbers make sales I get it. SAE versus STD worth ten ponies ? 4% sounds about right.

Rook from what I'm told Brocks dyno is a little free with the power by about 10 or so from what I was told. But I talked to Don Guhl and him and Brock came up with some more agressive timing maps and that is said to be worth 8 to 10 more HP. I'll let you know how that goes as I'm getting my ECU back from Don today. I had him make a throttle by wire change and add the timing maps...:)
