Guys put away your money and don't be sellin your 14R quite yet, I've got a buddy who has some connections back at the Mother Ship and he's telling me it's been leaked that it's a 636 derived motor with a blower, a freakin 600 fer crying out loud! It will have the emblem but heck, I'll just order the stinkin emblem and put it on my old 14.

If they copied the ape's transmission electrics = Is that beyond belief?
If they package the H-2 size engine = Is this beyond belief pick your cc size.

With a blower Hub, a 636 motor should be capable of close to 200 rear wheel HP in a 600 size package, sounds like a recipe for a handful if they retained the 636 wheelbase but it would be exciting. The electronics are a given as it would be uncontrollable otherwise, tie the chassis up in knots. Mother Teapot loses all credibility if this bike is not a mind blower! If that French rag photoshop is close to accurate, it does look a lot like a 636.

Blown motor or not, if it will not outrun the current ZX-14R or BMW 1000RR in quarter mile or top speed it won't sell. It will have to raise the bar by a good bit and I don't see this happening. We'll see shortly if all the hype is warranted.

The a SC636 would out run a 14R n BMW RR I may need to own one.....Never thought I'd look a a 600cc bike! :)

Kruz, no way would I make all that effort and not spank the 14/rr/all comers. I would say the puffer would be one WATT short of feeling electric at that throttle. Hell, that 14 feels like a variable drill as it is. Yes, I can imagine the puffer coming out with a lot of endless grunt and "motor" away.

I need a pc owner kind of foot shift killing a spark ear, if they listen to that shifting thru the gears?> and is the rider lifting for shifts, or is that a built in kill mode kind of 9 modes ha'COM'inn? Blow me away with a kill shifter so you are at WOT without all that body english lifting off the throttle and upsetting the BARS: start raising the bar, mother tea.

I'm tellin you guys, looks like a 600 sized package, they may be going for lightweight and decent HP to get the performance numbers but I can't see any 14 or 14R owners trading in, the ergos look way too tight.
