I tried this one row at a time and kept getting the same error message : list index is out of bounds -1.

Romans, you have to load a map first, like the zero map. Then you should be able to copy & paste the whole matrix.

So you guys runnin' autotune.....
How long until it gives you trim suggestions?
Got mine installed yesterday, did 60 miles, and when I got home and plugged in all the suggested trim values were still zero. I know my map is not perfect. I can feel a lean spot at 6000 rpms.

did you put in the terminator plug into the autotune it won't work without it and also when you have the software hooked up to the PCV make sure you hit the get table button first. I sent in a question to dyno-jet and they responded with this:

When you accept the trims it alters the base map and resets the trim table. It’s always best to get the bike custom tuned because you have no idea what air/fuel ratio is best for the bike until it’s on the dyno. Since you had a custom tune done you want to find out what air/fuel the bike was tuned to and change your AFR target tables to the Air/fuel ratio the bike was tuned to. All the info you need is included in the install guide

I don't think I hit the get table button. Thanks! I'll give that a shot.

I like DJ's answer " All the info you need is included in the install guide". HA

Not yet. I'm gonna do my tune in steps. First wanna get a broad map dialed in. Then I'm gonna start mapping for each gear. Take it your map is dialed now Farmer?
How's she runnin'?

Hey b00fa, you were right on. I hadn't put the terminator plug into the autotune. I had figured the one I had removed from the PC5 to plug in the autotune was the same, so I had just used it to cap the open port on the autotune. It is just that... a cap. What comes with the autotune is actually a terminator. THANKS!

Turned out, I was runnin' WAY rich, not lean.
I'll start a new thread on "the adventures in autotuning" sometime next week.

I hooked up the speed sensor to try it. When I turn the gear mapping software it shows 0's in all fuel and afr tables. I'm just curious if I have to input all the afr targets and fuel tables or a map for each gear. Go into advance/demote map under power commander tools to change from basic mapping to gear mapping to see what I mean.
My autotune is still making trims in basic mode but I wanted to check out how to set up the gear mapping feature.

I know many of you are buying your PC5 from fuelmotusa.com but I would like to give the business to my stealer if he will match the price. Any drawbacks buying from the stealer? I know fuelmotousa will load a map for your bike - is there anything else fuelmotousa does that I should expect from my stealer?

I'm also planning to get autotune and the liquid crystal display unit if that has any baring on who I should buy from.

Well, damn, I see the liquid crystal display isn't available yet for the PC5. I can let autotune do the whole thing but if I want to adjust the settings autotune makes, I will need a laptop, right?

Yes.
I've been carrying mine in a tailbag to make adjustments while out on the road.
Wish I woulda bought a smaller laptop. Even considering picking up a notebook.
35 maps and counting.

I've been using a acer aspire one ,,not very big and cheap too. It is about 10" X 7" and an inch thick when closed up.I think you can buy one for about 300 bux up here in canada and $200 in the USA.

Hey ,Romans, I was bored with the old picture ,but like they say the first is still the best one haha!! So I put the old pic back up. .

^^Sheesh, the acer is cheaper than the liquid crystal display unit made by Dynojet. nice thing about the LCU is that it can be held in a bracket which attaches to your clipon. - and it's weather proof.

Yes the bracket mount would be handy. Figured I could use the laptop for other things and it fits nicely in a tank bag.

Yeah, I can't hear my stockers screaming too much over the wind blast on my lid but I can tell other people can. They'll often make room for me. The pipes get louder with a few thousand miles on them, too.

Have my PCV sittin' here waiting to install. Bike is OOC for new tire install. Needs 7K check over. Good time to look at getting the PC in there. I will be waiting on a new pipe before I put in autotune.

Hi guys I know this thread has gone cold but I am wondering how the(Auto Tune)generated map looks compared to the maps you were using. Did you have to make full 20% changes from the recomendations and then do the runs over again, or were your current Maps close?
