I like em both but I'd take the boosted one, of course.

I like the look of the slash cut pipe but does it change performance with/without boost?

and what is SWB?

Hey rook, im sure romans will chime in but he said if i remove the slash cut silencer its good for about 3 or 4 hp (i think). Also, SWB = stock wheel base

The pull and sound is in toxicating.

Ill post up a video soon

Three words of advice

1 sticky rubber is a must

2 pick up a used swing arm and stretch her - lower her

3 call Rose at Highway Law and put her on retainer

Now your playing with the big boys. Enjoy her, she looks mean and glamorous. A combination very few bikes achieve.

Oh as for the nick name alias changes, Romans needs a flair touch too...How about Turbo king?

Na wolf, I prefer the shadows. It's very hard to stay that way when you want the whole sandbox to know how much fun your having with this one particular Toy. Riding a boosted bike still makes top ten list in fun factor. I've been searching for something to out do it, but as of yet these bikes still gab my undivided attention. Fun plus one.

2nd on the advice, these bikes are spinning all the time whether you know it or not.

# 3 Call Rose ? what's she look like lol

The only thing legal I could think of would be a stunt plane. The downside is getting to the airstrip, which i guess the turbo bike would be good for.

I see what you mean about living in the shadows Romes! Your still the Turbo King in my books.

Told Beast he's got some mean competition. I think if we could get Fazer to beat him, he'd strap a jet engine between his legs just to remain on the podium!

Fazer has to much power to launch hard with stock wheel base. once rolling he's got us both. That is until Beast's baby goes under the knife this week for more,,,, Boost Greed Crack for gear Heads,,,,, that game never ends. After this week I will have the lowest boosted bike lol. You guys all mad men. Look forward to the read between those two.

You guys need to quit talking about boosted machines. While I wont say that my bike is getting boring, I do have a desire for some whistle. Maybe when I pay my bike off in two years, Ill be bringing it over the border for some upgrades.

Already have one vehicle (twin turbo firebird formula) that's gone to Toronto for a turbo kit. Why not another?

Although, in a big speed roll on with some friends on liter bikes I did listen to that little voice in my head that said "Don't shift to sixth" on the big end of the tach.

So maybe I'm not ready just yet.

PS. can they keep the rear section of the CT duals, so it looks the same? Wouldn't want to change that.

Now you have my attention. Any pics ? Who is doing the work ? Small with large Turbo ? Both the same ? What compression ? Ls1 or LSX ? Lol enough questions ?

In Toronto, may have something you need to try,,, just once of course, hook sets deep. Look me up.

My '00 Firebird Formula was purchased in late summer 2001, and the twin turbo kit from Incon Systems was installed at ARE or Agostino Racing Engines (winter 2002); which was near Toronto. Both Incon and ARE have been out of business for a long time. I can get into more about the demise of Incon, but a quick google search will provide that.

The twin kit itself was intended to be run at 6psi and make a minimum of 450rwhp with a manual trans car on a dynojet. After picking up the car (which was pretty much stock, clutch and catback); I had it on a mustang dyno locally that reads a bit lower hp due to load differences. There, it made just under 450 rwhp at 6.5 psi. At that time it was a bit lean, so I had bigger injectors installed and a retune. At that point and 7.5-8 psi it made 518 rwhp and almost 560 tq. With my car, Mustang dynos read almost exactly 10% lower than a dynojet. I have been on both the same day at the same location, so can pretty much say this w/o error. In this trim it ran lower mid 11's at around 125 mph and a crappy 60'. Only really ever ran a 17" nitto drag radial, since it was purely a street car. And a heavy one at almost 3900# with me in it.

After that. I gave it 6.0l truck heads (slight drop in compression), LS6 intake, and a 12 bolt rear with 3.73's. At that point on a cold day (35f) it got a splash of race gas, more boost - 11.5 psi, and ran 11.20 at 132mph. Still about 3900# with me in it. was a 1.78 60', IIRC.

Since then it had a ticking noise which come to find out was a casting flaw in the stock cam; I pulled the motor and put in a forged long block (still stock crank). That has just under 9:1 compression, dart heads, custom cam, and 60# injectors. Still needs the fuel system done and a retune. Goals are ??? The limiting thing now will be the stg 1 turbo's (GT 2871?) or the stock fuel rails. A friend pushed his car on the base turbo's to 10.0's at 140. Making somewhere around 740 rwhp at about 17psi. I figure I can be pretty safe and make 600-650 easy, at maybe 12-15psi. But really if it makes 500, I don't care. Its just a car to go cruise in.

Pic. and the second pic is the stock cam that wiped a lobe. hard to see, but the casting was porous and chipped a piece off.

Rod I was over at local race shop looking for similar mods. Soon after the build sheet was done boys started telling me stories of the T-Roofs popping off and the car twisting not able to handle that much Hp. I just lost a sweet kit due to fear that was instilled in me long time ago. Curious as to what shell mods you have done if any or just is what I'm being told BS.

I was going to build this, still might. 2002 35Th Anniversary Car #89 out of 250 sold here in Canada

Yup, forgive me for getting offtopic. We can take it private if you have issue. And btw, That turbo bike sounds like a blast at swb. And probably a little intimidating. I don't care much for big wheelies. Its why I ride in ktrc mode 1 all the time. Keeps them in check a bit.

Romans, I don't think T-tops popping off would be an issue as long as they are locked in properly. And you have under 1500 hp. heh. I was in a stock SS that had one come off on the highway, but the owner must have not secured them properly. I always give them a little push from the bottom after I latch them down.

The friend of mine that I mentioned above, ditched the small Incon kit and made his own to run big boost. In a firehawk with T-tops he ran high 7's at almost 180. They stayed in. He did have a full cage at that point, but for a basic street car, under 1000hp; probably no issues.

I do have suspension mods, but nothing crazy. Weld in subframe connectors would be a must. boxed rear lower control arms, tubular pan hard bar (Bent the OEM one) lol. And also front tubular kmember, a-arms and QA1 shocks. I do still have the front sway bar, so maybe that helps with some chassis twist. Ive gone as low as 1.51 60', but not very often and when it was lower boost. So the majority of the time was just on a nitto dr. Usually low 1.80 60's were my best. Other than the one time it went low 1.70's.

It has rippled the rear quarter panels a tiny bit (can only see it at certain angles and lighting), so I know the chassis has taken some abuse; but T-tops always stayed in. Hope that helps. PM me if you want more info. And yeah, a nice basic 5-600 rwhp ls1 car is very fun on the street. Not like our 8sec capable bikes (or quicker); but still fun.

Whaaa nice whip!
I second the notion that you will not wear the crown for long. Romes will not be outboosted.

Jon u get that swingarm yet???

It's like implants without the face lift.
