The engine is positioned to the right in the frame too. The weigh distribution of the engine may shift the center of gravity enough to cause the bike to lean a tiny bit to the right. That could be something all owners are compensating for with steering without even being aware of it.
Could be, I did an AI search yesterday, and the consensus seemed to be
1. No, the ZX14R should not veer.
2. Yes, but it is due to runoff. (discredited imv, for anyone that tested
both sides of the road under 'like' conditions
and still has the 'veering to the right' on opposite slopes in the same road,
though I bet very few riders have done this particular test)
I have my rear wheel as close to matched as I think I can get them,
going by the hash marks and measuring bolt lengths.
Looking at the chain on the rear sprocket
there is space between the left side of the chain and the left side
of the sprocket, is that normal? The chain in other words favors
migrating to the left, so it's not centered.
