The 'problem(s)' with Lojack are..YOU have to make the call to the police,#1...secondly...the police may or may not have the capabilities to actually track the Lojack signal. They have to be equipped with it in their units and such.Just getting the lojack will not help you.It is not a conventional 'alarm' as you know.It will not alarm to let you know someone is messing with your ride(unless what I read was outdated). If your bike is stolen while you're away...and you get home a day later and report it...even if the police could track the signal....by that time...your bike is either stripped or seriously not okay.Probably out of state by then....maybe...on it's way to Singapore. You MIGHT get lucky and they find it stashed somewhere...but that would be the exception....These guys know all about Lojack and the other 'infallable' systems.

had this happen to my brother not a bike, stole all his old stuff in the house 6 weeks latter after insurance they came and took all the new stuff.
I'm glad my brother wasn't home
Good luck

There is a TWIN sister to your ride you lost to the SCUMBAGS in FESTUS MISSOURI. Check out Craig's list St. LOUIS, MO. I actually seen the Twin sister last year. The Twin has been for sale at this dealer ship for some time. If you don't buy her you can at least use her as a tool to negotiate with your insurance company. Good Luck

Sorry to hear the news Joseph. Glad to hear you'll be getting another bike soon. Sure was a beauty you had there.
Low-lifes f'in thieves. What can you do but try to be prepared?
I'd like to ride the 14 to my sons first baseball game of the season today. Since my accident I haven't ridden it in the last 3 months except to get fresh gas the other day. Never been to this park before so I have to worry where to park and if I can keep an eye on it. Damn.

Hey everybody, I went to my dealer today and I was inquiring about lojack but it doesn't work where I live but they gave me another brand of locator that they say works just as well or better. The problem with lojack is that the police cars also have to be lojack equipped. I will place the web address of the product so you can check it out. She told me it was 1100 installed but at this point that is a small price to pay for security and if it happens again I can go directly to the place where my bike is with minutes because it sends an alert to the phone if the bike even gets moved. http://www.guidepointsystems.com/motorcycles/index.html

Around here, all the used cars are chipped and if you miss a payment by one day to Instant Credit Auto Mart or Buy Here Pay Here Die Here, they'll find it, tow it back to the lot and sell it again. You should be able to put some sort of locator chip on the machine that can lead you to it when it gets swiped.

@blue14, yes they were chrome and thanks. Danno, I know exactly what you are talking about because I bought a car like that one time and I was away from home and they tried to tow me but I got it worked out. They did come directly to me though, so it did work.. Im either going with this or something similar..

No I didn't get the bike back yet. They are still grilling him but he' s not trying to give up the location because he's a habitual felon he' s going up for a while and he probably figures why give it up. We got some hot leads on it though, so maybe it will turn up in the next few days or so. Thank god for the biker community because all the info I got was from the streets and I would filter it to the police.

Next time an insurance company asks "where will it be garaged" I'm gonna lie
I swear those agents are selling info.
Sorry about your experience,, to bad capital punishment is not practiced here, guarantee that lo-life
Gets out and does it all over again, bet he would think twice if he witnessed some other lo-life get executed for the same shit... Less stolen vehicles = cheaper premiums
