Are you planning on doing a lot of track days? If so, the 10r would be the hot seat. Otherwise, the torque and comfort of the 14r make it a way better motorcycle IMHO. I enjoyed the 30,000 miles I put on my CBR954rr, but a good bit of it was in minor agony - you just don't get that with the 14r. Smooth, comfy, easy to ride and hauls asssssss.......
