At that speed, I would start in 2nd. Your list of to-do mods sound good. Here's an old vid of me doing a pull from 65 mph in 2nd

Quickshifter!
OH YEAH! Mine sure don't work that reliably. Is that the HM Plus with SS?
How is your Healtech working for you, pred?

Hi Rook,
It is the older HM Quickshifter Plus (not the SS version). I'm running a MPS airshifter with onboard air compressor now. The airshifter only misses a gear when I lose traction really bad and the HM would misshift about 1 out of 20 times.

Thanks for that info. I've been thinking about an air shifter or electric. Gotta play around with my setup more but my HM Plus without SS and with rear sets misses half the time at high rpm. DAmn it sounds ugly when it slams back down.

the bmw that got the lucky win refuses to give me a rematch after word got out i beat 2 busas and another BMW. claiming now he wants to stay off the street etc. i know we have mutual friends who made sure he knew it was a fluke and it was my error on the pull. he made a public post on FB saying he wants to be safe all of the sudeen but was racing others. no hate or heat with him cause he is a nice guy but taking a win and running isnt kool in my book. The R1M i beat on my youtube channel at least did beast out of 5 with me getting the final 3 in full pulls on him which were not close. in any case he intially agreed to rematch me so time will tell but i will catch up with him and ask him why he doesnt want to race anymore.

the more i think of it the more i am pissed. it was my needing to adjust. one pull isnt enough. i did 5 pulls vs the r1m and the first 2oulls i was in 3rd gear. with traction on too but now he knows i am going to beat him and he pulls the family and safety card on social media. and further more due to my youtube and predator character I am getting roasted without a chance for redeption which isnt far. rematch is only fair and I know for a fact i will defeat him.

We'd get no better treatment from a private basic insurer. Ontario proves that. Full competition for basic and they just won't insure anything with an R on it. ICBC has to insure every fucktard who's 17 and has a GSXR 1000. I choked at the 850 bucks for six months basic on my 2012.
I do my racing at the strip, personally....S1000RRs are really no match for the ZX14R there. Difficult bike to get going from a dig.
