I could ride all day on the back 2 lane highways...... I absolutely hate riding on the interstates though. Totally boring and the truck traffic sucks big time. Much better than my 09 ZX6R though..... 3 hours on that and my ass wanted off!

Caps I hear ya but you can't get any where fast on the back roads. We usually bang out 700 to 800 miles to get to the state or country lol that we want then it's all back roads for two days the race home on the highways so we don't get our asses kicked from the wives. Lol

I didn't realize that CT to the dragon was quite that far! I was planning on doing that this year some time, I have a cousin that lives in Milford, so I was gonna go from here to CT on the 1st day, and to the dragon on the next....
I've done 6 hours of Hwy before, no fun, but do-able. Back roads I can do all day :)

Dr it's pretty far for sure....it's a good 750 miles from Milford. I live in the next town over from Milford. You should do it.... I rode to Quebec last year and that was a blast also....the head to Nova Scotia....it was a great ride for sure.

In 1985, when I was 29 years old, I set out in a solo ride from Brooklyn to Phoenix in an old Kawasaki KZ-1000. It was 32 degrees fahrenheit and it took me five days to get there. One year later I made the trip back. These days, I am dead tired after 3 hours of highway riding, and I wouldn't ride in the winter, even if you pay me, lol
