Sooo Mad! Seller on amazon now tells me that after waiting 12 days for shipping and no updates that the Galfer is on backorder and will be weeks. Found a cheaper one on the bay and placed my order. Not expected to be here until Saturday. Guess I am not riding this weekend! Oh wait I have another bike but its a cruiser and only has 60hp :( Thanks for the great comms Billet Superstore!

Probably going to take one link out tomorrow Vic. Wheel is 100% back in pic and chain will be just a bit long at full length.

Here's something I learned about running the axle that far back in the swingarm. It's actually possible to fold up those stock adjuster bolts if your racing it at the track. Traction compounds at the track allow for scenarios that aren't possible on the street and the torque of this bike will literally attempt to make the rear wheel try to meet the front. I ended up ordering slightly longer and harder bolts to replace my factory adjuster bolts. If your not drag racing it shouldn't be a problem but I just wanted you to know.

Good to know mav thanks. Got the link cut out today and spread one rivet on the master link before i had to quit and saw down a tree. This was followed by bbq and drinks so hopefully the chain gets finished tomorrow and i can verify suspension settings are still good for ride height. Still need to install my custom plate, metal chain guard(which showed up today and looks awesome), and stripe the front wheel. The finish line is in sight for this round.

Does look cool. I'll probably go with a colored chain (thinking blue with gold sprocket) when mine needs replaced.

I'd actually like to do the opposite. How far did this pull the axle forward compared to being all the way to the back?

So overall i gained 1.5 notches or about 3/8" before any stretching. So i fully expect over half inch more wheelbase with plenty adjustment. I think the visual upgrade is the main win. That galfer really looks good for a brake rotor.

After a quick spin up the driveway, the chain is a bit tight and i still have to stripe the front wheel. Otherwise lookin good.

Another item of note,Yesterday my dad wanted to sit on my bike. He put his full weight (300 lbs?) on the $40 billet adjustable chinese kickstand and it held him and the bike no issue. My worries about the quality of that item are gone at this point.
