lol, today I did some night riding and the bike shoots out flames now when it pops... my last bike never did with a yoshi pipe, caught me off guard when I saw that flash in my mirror.
I didn't think the street would be much quieter with it only being 3inches longer. I have a feeling the race might be too loud for the neighbors, the bike is turning heads now. So I just ride real slow till I get to the main road. Then let it rip. bike revs better too now, rev matching is much more smooth
yeah, I know the chain is not rubbing while riding because of the weight on the swing arm, but it still annoys me that they decided to make it so close to the chain. no reason to, plenty of room to just bend the pipe a couple centimeters to the left away from the chain. When the bike is on the rear stand or side stand, I can push down on the chain enough that it will make contact with the pipe, but not when I sit on it. It is that close. same with you?
I have no idea what was wrong with me as far as installing it, maybe I was not looking at it right. I took it to my mechanic who did it quickly for cheap. Then when I got home, I took off the left side just to see if I can increase the space between the chain and pipe. Then re-installed it with ease. Dont know what to say :)
