The brake calipers on the 14 are good, the rotors and master cylinder are decent too.
Is this set up adequate for advanced group track riding, even if you put some Vesrah pads and ss lines on?
It's certainly not going to be optimal and there will be the inevitable fade.

I only have ss lines and srjl17 pads on my 10 and those brakes will start fading on me on a warmer day within a few laps.

There's no better braking than with the Brembo mc, it's precise and with a ton of feel.
And also you should never need that much stopping power for street riding, take it to the track if you're pushing that hard.

exactly. not that your 14 might not ever need max brake capability on the street for an emergency but if you are braking that hard and often enough that they are fading........?

Thank you for the info, good sir.

I didn't put on new rotors when I put on new pads. No probs here. OEM rotors. Putting on ew wheels soon that have new rotors. NOT planning on putting on new pads. Pads are about $200 I believe. For that, they stay in with whatever rotor is on there. ;;;..until death do them part.
