The service manual recommends replacing the lines at 4 years - both brake and clutch.
So that was my excuse to change the clutch as well.
If you change rear line, consider a banjo pressure bolt switch. You will probably need one if you put on rear sets and is another nice mod...

Hi guys,
I can see this all was posted a while ago but a lot of great information here.
I am looking at replacing the stock front/rear brake and clutch lines with Hel transperant blue SS lines (clutch for looks only really)...
I have noticed the Hel options for the 2007 ZX14 front brakes are OEM, Over The Fender and Race.
I just don't know which one I should be looking at.
Saying that I'd be pretty happy to simply replace the existing stock brake lines configuation as they are but is that the OEM or Over The Fender option?
Or should I be considering Race?
I have looked at the Hel website but couldnt find too much in the way of an explanation there.
Any ideas?
Oz14, what option did you end up going for?
