I'm getting my 43 tooth ASAP.One topend run it goes back on.Thats why I bought the tall shield.Need for speed.

Dug out this old thread instead of posting a new one. I've had my 14R for a little over 3 months, and am pretty used to the bike now, approaching 2,000 miles. A couple of times when I was a bit aggressive in second gear, I noticed I was getting 6 inch wheelies and didn't even feel them until I felt the front wheel come back down. The bike remained massively stable, as was the case on my ZX-12R when I did unintentional power wheelies - like punching it to make a traffic light before it went red.

I'm really impressed with everything about this bike. Told my girlfriend riding the 14 was almost as good as sex. (She was happy it didn't quite pass that threshold).

Put your ass as far back on the seat as comfortable and give it the berries if you got any, lol, she will rise to occassion and quite nicely. first gear just off/on the throttle short shift to second on the way up and light throttle inputs as not to upset the balance.

I brought my 2013 to the strip a few weeks after I bought it, and it will lift in 1st and 2nd when you get on it. And power shift it into 3rd and it'll lift there too. Can't wait for spring to come man....

Does every KTRC level stop wheelies? To what extent?

0 lets you flip the bike onto your hade. 1 lets you loft the front a lil'. 2 & 3 keep the front wheel down all the time.

1 lets you lift it more than just a little (about a foot or so), haven't tried 2 or 3
