My winter project includes heated grips, and BMW sockets for heated pants/jacket/gloves. Among other things. I almost purchased a heated seat, but decided not to.

So far it hasn't managed to snow in my part of western Maryland, but farther west in Garrett county (as far west as MD goes) they got slammed and have been shut down all day because of the amount of snow that has fallen in 24 hours.

Was 15 when I left for work at 4:30 this morning. Heard on the weather it dropped another degree around sunrise.
Didn't see any bikes out on my way.

Wow bean that looks like us in the winter. Is that a flood or a river in your back yard? Get a kick out of the riders I see when its cold like in the forties out usually just see some cruisers or dual sport types out when they see a sport bike they seem a little perplexed. That's right I'm on a sport bike and its cold out what's not to believe? Also the cars I pass they probably think I'm cold. Still see buck thirty or whatever. Rather ride than not at least once every week or two. Don't care to ride in the wet or approaching freezing I don't trust the traction factor or possibility of ice.

THERE is a small river behind this POND Infront of our house, just in front right there is the outlet catchment drain for stormwater, for 600+ houses, where at the bottem of the hill at the end of a culdersac the rear is slightley flooded now ! it's just start to overflowing into our pool right now ! Got to go an stop the flow in the pool Hell havent seen it it like this since our foundation went down this time 5 years ago

18 yesterday and 16 today and still in the saddle. The Victory rider said he was gonna wait till it got back up to 25 in the morning before he goes again and said he admits defeat and I win the blue ball award.

My daughter told me no matter how cold it gets that it willl not freeze the prostrate cancer into remission. I told her that was a matter of opinion because it is getting so cold for me on the ride into work that I feel like I am being froze into remission.

The wife and daughter just tell me that people are stupid on different levels and I have just made my own level. I hope the next doctor visit is on a cold but clear/kleen day so I can ride in and tell him I have done his job by freezing it into remission.
My doktor sometimes has issues with my ideas.

lytnin:

Doctors suck...

Sorry to hear about your prostrate cancer. I have a few friends who have gone through this. Hope you are getting good treatments and that they are working.

Sometimes the treatments seem worse than the diseases. Maybe not in this case, though...

Hang in there. -bg
