If you go much over an 1" in rise you're going to need longer brake and clutch lines.

I'm 6'3 as well. The only issue i have with it is the fact that it pitches me forward enough that i have to look up constantly and it hurts my neck. Cruisers aggrivate my middle back being hunched. My Z1000 was great on my back and riding position was awesome but the seat was terrible and my ass would go numb. Now its the hand cramp and having to look up. If i can get more upright it would be great. I have some 1.25" risers coming but i'm not sure if it will be enough. Stacking them makes me a little nervous just being held by what 2 bolts and being that tall. I'm not going to spend a ton of money on the bike though as i'm likely just going to sell it next year. Concourse seat may be interesting. Tho i don't think it will change the rising position or being me closer to the bars

Try the bar riser first. Pouring money in it and then knowing you're going to flip it? Sort of like pushing it double stacked, I agree. As if, get this... when both models came out, did I want the upright or deal with my back problem? Bags were always nice when light runs to the stores are made and all that, but when I sat on the connie, moved the bars and saw the flex, no way was I going to throw the bike into a corner with that wiggle to it. That alone narrowed it down to choosing the 14, screw what pain comes.

Now? A double stack wouldn't phase me, but here we go with length/stretch on the hoses and cables. Lucky me, it was the numb at the arms and no back issues at all. If not helped the spine position with one stack.

2-1" Genmar spacers was done with no extra brake hose. The hose is attached as it runs down to the calipers. Just feel along the hose you will find it bolted. You have to flip the throttle cables.
At 6'3" that is all you need unless you have neck issues. I got the Zero Gravity "Touring" shield. If your Knees are too bent get lowers foot pegs.
I'm only 5'10" with a 32" sleeve and 32" inseam, but I have Neck and Knee problems-old battle scares.

My riding position with 2-Genmar spacers, Buell foot pegs and optional Kawasaki Touring seat

When I added the optional 2015 Kawasaki Concours "Touring" seat which was an 1" higher that made me look for higher bars.
Convertibars, Buell pegs and touring seat. Nice knee space for my bad Knees.
I did buy a 4" longer Brake hose. The Clutch hose on my Bike was very long and I just rerouted it. The same for all the electrical cables. I made new brackets to hold the Reservoirs.

Then you need Givi saddle bag Kit. Plenty of threads on how to do that. This Site should have a dedicated Topic for Givi Bags. Someone has been installing them since 2006.

I did 1.25" risers and it helped quite a bit. Sold the bike this weekend though. It was a crazy fast bike... baby on the way, not what i need in my life. Sold it for $7500.

Greenhornet2,

What bar risers did you buy and where did you buy them from?

"I did 1.25" risers and it helped quite a bit."

DOuble-D did the Converti-bars change the steering effort (negative or positively?) They seem like they may be narrower than the stock setup.

No problems with them fouling the fairing?
