Mine has been shaking ever since I rode it of the lot brand new. I personally hate that it shakes.
I am going to put on a GPR and hope it takes care of it.

....and a GPR is gonna leak and wear out in no time if it is under constant stress, I would think. Pit Bull Is a better rotary anyway--still none are meant for constant use. You should re-oil/ revalve/ service any damper you get every year. I would not wait more than 2 years on that. Rotary is probably more powerful damping force than a tube damper. Just look at the leverage dif between the two.
madskillz, Have you checked into all the possibilities? warped rotors, cupped tire, bent wheel? If it shook from day one I would suspect rotor first but check other possibilities.

Damper is not the way to fix this deal. It's like using a bandaid. No offense to anyone.I mean...use it if youthink you have to...but I'd want to find out what's causing it before applying something that may mask a more serious thing.Steering head bearings worn?Damaged?.Adjusted correctly?Get er up on a front stand(pin type) and see how she feels.First idea would be..as Rook said....tire.#1 culprit in these handlebar wigglings.
Let me guess...decelerating down from around 50ish through 40ish....rapid wiggling goin on.Then disappears at a certain speed?

Mine has had a little wobble from tyre to tyre sense new , don't let the bars go.
hitting the odd pot hole will give a little wiggle from time to time too.
Adding weight to the rear makes it worse, pack up for a few days away and it all happens sooner, nothing I can't live with.
done it sense new, don't hang on to tight when she shakes set her free.
Putting a little weight on the foot pegs helps lower the centre of gravity from seat height to peg height and will help some corner better as will squeezing your knees to the tank when braking, taking weight off you hands.
But its not for everyone.
front fork started shaking. Kinda like about to start a tankslapper, but it stayed constant and didn't accelerate.
I turned the steering damper full up but it didn't stop the shaking! (Bad damper?)
No damper will be OK, if it was a mild shake then the damper wasn't meant to do much its only for a major shake and was most likely under the point were its meant to cut in. check its condition to put yourself at ease for sure.
Its hard for everyone here to understand what you call a wobble or head shake, but just letting the bars go in a straight line and getting a wobble is nothing new
You could spend a lot of money looking for this rainbow
