Haha that great F-OFF! I like this thread. Meb... My man... You Def fit in. Everyone has a touch of hooligan in them if you ride a ZX-14R! But that doesn't mean everyone expresses the hooliganism within. Before I got out on what i call "hot" laps on a stretch of Local spur Highway, I do a couple test laps to look for any cops. I have a CDL and in no way can afford a ticket or to lose my license. I am a high voltage lineman here in the northeast. My trade alone is a risky yet wild job that I'm in love with. I have a beautiful wife I just got married to and a gorgeous 9 year old son. I think of all of this all of the time. But wheni put a leg over my black pearl, my mind goes into a different space. Be careful and pay attention. I think this is why it appears to be more of a mature crowd owning These bikes and not "kids". It takes a different level of maturity to own, respect and ride the mighty beast!

What an amazing place and bunch of people on this site. All with minds of steel, bodies of glass and hearts of gold. When all the dust settles, the piss talk stops and the chests deflate, we're all so similar. Just wanting to experience something amazing and challenge ourselves to separate the sublime from the ridiculous. And what an amazing machine that challenges and satisfies us all on an emotional and personal level. I'm hooked by the people on this site and the machines we ride.

I've given this a few days thought and I have to answer "NO", the 14 has not changed the way I ride. It has, however, expanded my ability to ride the way I always do by giving me a larger envelope to play in. I asked my wife for her opinion and she said that if I have a bike with a top speed of 125mph, I'll tuck in and hold the throttle WFO until I get to 126mph. I guess that's the way I push everything I own, the ZX14 is no different - just better lol...

After 3 seconds of full throttle, everything else on the road becomes 'Oncoming Traffic'...
