Nastynotch, that would be cool. My new tires will be here this week, so I should be good to go when I spoon them on.

carabuser, If they don't you could always go back to the wine...
Try bending your elbows while riding (don't keep your arms straight), this should stop you from putting your weight on your arms. If you find this leans you over too much, you can try the risers (no you don't need new hoses or cables) or a handle bar conversion (I've got the LSL kit on my bike, it comes with new brake lines). You'll be sitting more upright which should help with how much weight from your torso you need to support.
Also, if you can strengthen your hands and wrists that might help a lot, as your muscles might just be getting fatigued.

Hey nightmare , good info. I try to do that, but I'm sure I forget, have risers, but they are just
The heli-bars, I try to hold on to the bars as loose as possible, (also better for handling hard fast sweepers)
And try to keep my elbows bent and weight off my wrists etc ...
The Qwi gloves seemed to help at first, but now they don't seem much different than my Alpinestars,
(Which I would rather wear anyways)
My problem may be carpal related, I'm not sure, but it bugs the hell out of me, for the past 10 years
Or so, BUT I'm not going to quit riding LOL !
They will get my motorcycle, when they pry my cold, dead, fingers off it ! (Just like my Guns !)

Another thing to check is that your controls are adjusted properly. In a normal riding position your wrist should be straight. If you have to bend your wrist to use your clutch or brake levers, adjust them. And I second the note about keeping your elbows bent and your arms relaxed.
