I've seen them hammer those rr's electrics kick in. With me watching that physical-visual on the wha-wha out of the corners, the back end winds up, shuts down, winds up, shuts down. In other words, that mode switch can keep you from spinning the wheel, lifting out of corners. That is just the rr tech savvy throttle angle goings on I witnessed.

You harness the torque on the tire like that, are you kidding? We have 4 modes. Box stock out of the crate as your 14 now. The rain mode is first gen sub setting. That should be some rain slow as shit that was a slow fly! Then, mode two is the tre hit with fly in. Mode three is generation two hit that almost opens with the throttle angle. Mode four hit is who knows hit? I'm just goofing so you can follow the modes if you know your mods. If the fourthit is not open fly?;

Getting back to your initial question. The torque has to be one variable with 4mm added. That 14-Fourty'Ones it. The fueling delivery system is next. As far as I am concerned, I am not going to compare brands. The 10 is up front in WSB, not an rr, don't forget. It podium'd via what? One time for how many years trying? Kawi comes out with a new model and boom! Done! A front runner out the gate.

MMm-hm "Live in the past" is my new modo. Staying current won't make me too much faster and who has time to to do all the mods and all the riding they ever wantted to do on their bike in just a few years? I still love the bikes I have so I see no big reason to trade off. HOwever, ......if I was a BIGTIME PLAYA like Kruz......and I had an 06......since the day the 14 came to our showrooms...............I might be keeping an eye out on a new 14. just maybe.

If the new 14R would have came with that 250 HP watercrafts 1500cc supercharged
motor the magazines were talking about, I'd have already put down a deposit, LOL!!
Or even if it was a TRUE "R", not just a marketing ploy. I would have waited till
I saw one, but probably still purchased one. Until then I guess I'm keeping my 06!!

If I was buying a new ZX14, the 2012 would be hard to resist.

I'd take the 14R vinyl off it though, the sportbike gang locally would never let me live it down.

But alas, I'm not. I'm selling my fairly exotic 2008 ZX14 and using the profits to subsidize purchase of a C14.

Got to get the wheels clean, and wipe the carbon fiber down, get pictures, get it on CycleTrader as soon as the weather gives me a break.
