knew my trigger finger wasn't lying to me. That's why I was hot to order. the ad said one set available and that was the fact, apparently.

I don't know anyone with a 14 and just had a friend tell me that he thought the rearset was seperate from the actual rearset.
I have bought vortex rearsets in the past but the rearset and the shift lever were all connected.

The Vortex shift lever is connected to the rearset and that is the case with all rearsets I have seen. The shift lever comes off of the Vortex and can be replaced. The stock shift lever is not used with any rearsets---if that was what you were asking. You take the stocker off. There is a rod that goes from the rearset shift lever to the shaft where the stock shift lever was mounted. The rod pushes/pulls on the shaft to shift up/down.
