Thanks guys! I still need to paint the front fender, mirrors and the clutch/brake caps. I finally received my ZG sport touring windscreen. The ZG changes the look of the bike from the DB. So far the ZG is working out good, a little bit more wind protection than the DB.
I hope to paint the rest of the parts this weekend. Once that is complete, I'll post up more pics!
Later!

I should have pics up tomorrow sometime of the painted caps and fender. I decided not to paint the mirror fins. looks pretty cool, I think.
I also painted the ZG windscreen black, only the lower portion that is behind the dash. Pictures will show it!

Okay, here are a few pics of the painting in progress...
Now with the parts back on...
Then this one of the ZG Sport Touring screen that I painted the lower half that hides the wiring and the rear of the dash... sun glare...

I think she looks really good Bears.Did ya ever get that 12v deal sorted out. There was another member here who installed a 12v power adapter with the same results...a dead battery. Is this adapter like a pigtail that comes off the battery?I know there's a few different kinds of plugs for those..like a BMW style or co-axial?IDK what could be causing a 'short' across that plug....why would it be draining your battery?

+1. I think a set of Akky would complement this bike. but then again I understand if you're a purist when it comes to the performance parts. Why change something that's working?

Yes the 12V issue is gone, I'm not sure why but all I did was get a new battery. Once I installed the new battery, no more power issues. I would assume that the stock battery was going and the 12V power toasted the old battery. And yes the adapter is a pigtail that hooks directly to the battery terminals.

Well, I too think I need a new set of cans, but it's all about the $$$$! I would love a set of Akky cannons but...I m putting money into my newly purchased 5 acres of land. Today I'm getting the lot surveyed and shelling out $850 for that. Then comes fencing, land clearing, a water well and start building a custom house. Of course this will all take time, like 2 - 3 years.

Nice!! We talk about all kinds of purchases but owning land is such a wonderful thing to if you can. That is something that gives you a secure feeling--knowing you have your spot in the world. Enjoy that for many many years to come, bears.
The 14 looks great too.
