Well done Bryan, great thread and your bike looks amazing.
You have not mentioned drag racing, but are you going to give it a shot and see how she goes?

This is a lot of money and hours of labor to confine the use to secret runs in Mexico but that alone would be good enough for me. Whata ya say, Bryan... LSR ? Drag racing?

Thank you for the compliments. I’ve had so much work to do to get the bike working decent that I haven’t had much time to mess with drag racing. I don’t have any tracks close by so I need to find some decent spots for 1/4 mile runs. The nice thing with the rolling runs is I can do the run and be slowed down in a matter of 10-15 seconds. Lately we’ve had a lot of rain here so I haven’t been out on the bike too much. I made some more adjustments to the 2nd gear boost table and I was able to run a 2.97 60-130 on asphalt so I was pretty happy with that. Most runs with a full tank of fuel are around 3.10 60-130 though so I think I’ve still got some work to do.
I’m tossing the idea around of installing a bigger turbo this winter. I suspect the wossner rods may not be strong enough so right now I’m thinking I’d like to go with some CP Carrillo rods, o ring the head, and redo the fuel system with a better fuel pump and 8an fuel lines. I just don’t know if I will have the time to mess with it this winter.

Ah yes, TIME. You must be working still like me. I get home and i have time to do one ordinary task and then it's time to start getting ready for beddy. I could force myself to work on the bike more but then it's no fun. The new 14R sits here with zero miles put on it this year. I'm getting some rides on the new Hayabusa though.

What would you be looking to turn it up to if you did go larger on the turbo? I researched internals a few months back and IIRC the Wossner's should be good for around 500hp, they are what I planned to go with for my relatively modest goals.
Bigger turbo is nice - not only does it make more power at same PSI of boost, but also can lower charge temps and the reduced exhaust restriction makes more power off boost as well :). The lag can be annoying though. My 57mm on a .83AR starts making boost at right around 3k, but isn't all in until 5500-6k. On the flip side, being a commuter that means I can ride it around off boost if I behave and still get decent MPGs and great manners.
