Hello good people! Just bought 07 blue zx 14 and absolutely LOVE IT ! Switching from Warrior I like accelaration ,handling (I already adjusted suspension)riding position and much more.I took it for ride in canyons went stupid and had more fun than I ever had on the bike before. Only part that I didn't like was scraping my old wrinkly ass from my stock seat.I looked thru previous posts but those didn't help much.I would realy appriciate if someone my size 6'2 240lb and age (45 springs) would have any sugestions as far as which is the best seat Low/Normal etc.Also if you live close to Fort Collins CO and want hit the canyons let me follow you. Thanks much and ride safely(at least half of the time).

a lot of owners seem to prefer a Concourse Zx-14 seat for comfort. I think you need to do some simple mod to provide for a functioning latch on the Connie seat so it may be attached to the 14 Ninja.

Looks like someone else is thinking the same thing yoiu are. lol

Get yourself a seat for a Kawasaki Concours ZG14 09 and up, Much more comfortable than the stock seat I just made this switch and its night and day. swap your brackets from the stocker to the concours and snap it in....then go for a ride!

I put a 2010 C14 seat on and love it.

Nothing short of much wider and longer and thicker touring seat keeps you comfy above 3 or 4 hundred miles at a sitting.

At least, when you are old like me lol.

Corbin seat for me.I've had one on the last 3 bikes.
Service sucks (if you need it) but the seat is awesome....and a bit pricy.
Many choices of colors and paterns. I got carbon fiber look leather in black.
They offer naugahyde, leather, alligator skin, all colors, etc. etc.

I have also heard of some owners scooping out the stock seat and reapolstering. The OEM seat is way overstuffed, they say.

Sargent seats are great, although a bit pricey. -bg

Love my New Image seat. Longest day in the saddle, so far, was about 450 miles. I was still as comfortable on the last mile as I was doing the first.

The answer is NO

Just got mine and don't have a ton of miles on it yet, but so far, my Russell Day-Long seat is by far the best seat I have ever sat on.
