Yeah...I never called it that before...probably won't stick with that.I think I'm gonna keep it like you said. It's a very unique and special bike.I love the way I feel when I ride her.Really quite different than my baby 14R.I could always figure out something with bags.I have a decent set here for the 14.I think they could fit in there...there's not much room though.Maybe something smaller would work better.
She's set up now for kickazz performance.I don't want to lose that.I'd be kidding myself if I really thought I'd be two-upping.I won't be doing that. And to just use that SX for a sportbike,nah...if she weighs 560 some lbs or thereabouts,I wouldn't really want that. The ass is different as well...not so convinced I like what they did there. The H2's more styled like a fricken Wasp.I like wasps;)

Yes the wasp look is good and the ass shape is paramount. Wait a couple years and se what the busa turns into but don't move too fast on that either. Kawasaki will be poised to top that in one swift move after all of these years.

Looks great, I would've liked teh H2 more if it had full fairings like this. The bags? Yuck.
But once again I'm bewildered that Kawasaki has made yet another motorcycle which comepets basically with it's own product lines. H2? H2 SX? 14R? Ninja 1k? Granted the N1K is the least similar of all these but having 3 bikes that basically fighting for the same dollar?
Maybe the end of 14s?

"Maybe the end of 14s?"...no,I don't think so.BUT,I do think the new SC'd bikes they're coming out with are a switch towards an oncoming shift in 'performance' 'big bikes'.The 14 will always be a great roadbike.Excellent for two up and touring. Now you figure the new SE has the supercharger,5 gallon tank...mpg at 40+.All the newest bells and whistles. Not gimmicks.Real world usable things. This bike is a winner. Now the Connie...It's big and bulky. Some like that. This new one,it's cutting away the bulkiness. While giving WAY more performance. This bike is the future.IMO.The beginning. The H2,H2R were the 'prototypes'.I think it's gonna do really well.Knowing Kawasaki,I bet this thing is silky smooth and stronger than all get out like the H2.Very close anyway.Having a launch control mode tells me it hauls ass.

I just can't seem to bring myself to part with this little beastie over a new model. I really like the tank volume of the new SE,but it's just not enough to tip the scales.Bags? There's a remedy for that.I don't need heated grips.I have a cruise control of sorts on mine already that works great. The DASH?Other than wishing they had used a LIGHT background instead of the DARK contrast,I can be okay with that.It does add to the overall 'mystique' of the bike.I don't need a bosch imu.I've got Brembos on there.QS up and down.Derestricted.Piped.Flashed and PC'd.Nah...it would be a mistake for me to ditch my baby.It just really IS a GREAT motorcycle.

You could get custom faces. I wouldn't but you could if it really makes that much difference.
I'd really like to own that bike Grn. You're about as close as I'm going to get so make sure you keep her.

Forget it, Grn. She's yours. I won't even insult her by offering what I could afford.
LOL remember I'm the guy with 2015 registration tags and it aint because I plan on running from the cops either.
Worn out tires too.
I did just buy a couple more gauges though...and working on a Pro-Bolts order. I dont think I could come up with enough for an H2 though. That bike is up near the top of my favs list.

Sa'll good Daron...I'm holding her for now.Gotta say though, that new SE is callin me hard.Honestly,I'm concerned a bit that having this H2 MIGHT get me killed.Seriously.Virtually IMPOSSIBLE to ride her in a sane manner.I tried, more than once.I did.Not happening.I guess I'm weak. This thing says..'c'mon man,I can take you farther than that'...that's what scares me a bit.I love it...but it's wickedly selfish. It just doesn't FEEL like it's 'at the limit' in any way.Weird I know...I gotta be real though.
I aint 'scared' of it...and that's part the problem!I LOVE it.That's the problem;)The faster i ride on this beastie,the more I want to go faster.Like a drug or somethin.Not good.She's so damn predictable and controlled...and smooth,pushing the limit is dangerously easy.Obviously I haven't gotten there.I really don't want to.But I can't help myself.
It has such a strong draw to it,nothing like ANYTHING I've EVER ridden.Smooth as 14R,even moreso..with this exhilarating 'edge' to it.Really beyond explanation.I don't know how they did this...but it's very cool.

eh--you'd do the same thing with the H2 GT. You won't be happy with a less fast bike. It's either fast or nothing. I hope you pick your day when you give up riding. We don't want the day to pick us. Age isn't catching up with me yet. Money is though. That could put an end to my riding.

I hear ya Daron.Totally right. It's tempting...gotta say.AND it's damn fast as well.REAL fast.(the SE).Lots of pros to it.The price alone is enough.Undecided in Montana;)2014 I bought a new Harley road king thinking it's what I needed to 'save my life' so to speak.Sold it the next dayLOL.SHIT..almost got killed on it on the way home from the dealer's.Trying to pass someone doing 70 mph.Kinda clinched it for me..."Nah,I don't think I NEED a bike that can't make a pass at 70....".;)

The fabulous 14 has been with us for 11 years now in its 2 shapes. If you were big K what do you do? The 14 seems to still sell well but I bet not as fast as this new beaut will leave the shops! To my mind we are near the end of these big fast outstanding bikes and Kawasaki almost have the field to themselves in sport tourers. Long may it continue but sorry Mr.K I wont be changing my 14 which still ticks all the boxes I need even if it doesn't have cornering ABS, lights that see round corners, supercharger, phone interface etc etc. Lets hope Elon doesn't turn his attention to bikes after cars and big rigs!

Yep...Having an H2,I can hear the excitement in his voice. And he knows what the H2 runs like.He says the new bike is 'solid' and 'refined'.MORESO than the H2.That tells me this deal is VERY sweet.I would say, about my H2..'solid' is one of the biggest features of it.He says it's MORE.WOW.Didn't think that was possible.Yet here it is.Really good ride review.Guy's tellin it like it is;)I'm getting one as soon as I work out the details with my dealer.
The fact of having a 5 gallon tank, and the ability to pull down MPG's in the upper 40's is very cool.

LOL.If it's 'better' than the H2 at 10K lower,I'm willing;)I truly believe this new bike is VERY worth doing.Love my H2...this thing has virtually all the power and kick the H2 has, just a bit of a little less at the very top.I'm good with that. 22k,and my trade ins...oh yeah...worth it.
