keep the old H2! They won't give you what it's worth. You never can get what an old bike is worth when you sell it. The only reason to sell it is because you can't enjoy it anymore.

I do wonder if you could enjoy two H2s more than one though.

well, cripes, they're asking almost what they paid for new on cycletrader for H2s with a couple hundred miles. I'm definitely out.

They aint gonna get it.Tell ya that right now.Too many up for sale now.Modded.Ready to rock. The factory mods they did from 2016-17 pretty much shot the heck outta the 2015's for resale.I think Kawasaki had all the plans and mods ready to go that first year.Sales were better than they expected I think. So they kept up production. Now most all new sportbikes in the 1k cc range are hittin just about the same HP and tq as the 2015's.And a lot lighter. With the newest electronics.Nowhere near 25-28k.I didn't get mine for resale.I had planned on keepin her.Hard to let go of my precious.New chapters.I can say I owned IMO the most solid fast sportbike out there. And had SO many great rides on her.

Grn, you are the best motorcycle buddy anyone can have. You buy the best bikes most cant afford. Mod it with all the best parts, then sell it at a fraction of the cost so someone can have a Merry Christmas.
I have been working, in secret, on a flash for the new H2 GT. It will unleash performance the factory tried to suppress. Please send me the ECU along with $399 so I can give it the NOVA flash and I'll slap a sticker on it.

Yup, better do that.

I'd be tempted to coast down a hill but man would it suck to get a ticket for coasting!

I still wish I had that H2 of yours, Grn. If I had the money, Ida bought it off ya. There's a couple bikes at the top of my list but a good deal on an H2 and I'd have it sitting with the 14 and busa.

Yeah,I know. There'll be more out there as time goes by.

"I'd be tempted to coast down a hill but man would it suck to get a ticket for coasting!"...no hills right here.I could probably get away with riding it since it's the first one around here. And I'm kitted up.BUT,if they ran the plate for any reason(like sitting behind me at a light)...I'd be dead meat. Can't go there.Probably impound the bike and huge fine for a 'second' driving with a suspended or revoked license. They aint playin. The possibility of actually permanently revoking my driving priviledge is very real.

In all honesty, Rook deserved that H2. Probably the only one I'd trust with payments. He keeps this site going and no one would know about Grn's motorcycle reports or my snarky comments without him. Grn, a lot of your existence has to do with the bike you ride and writing your reports.
So
1. buy the H2 GT
2. get a few speeding tickets
3. get a few near death experiences
4. swear off riding
5. sell the bike
6. Repeat

Give Rook the damn bike. We are getting old and need a miracle.

That about sums it up Knov;)I would have trusted Daron to pay it off...but he said he couldn't afford it...and yes...he did(and does)deserve an H2.I wish everyone here could get a ride on one.Kawasaki just keeps outdoing itself with every new model. No other bike mfg like Kawi.

Yes, I agree we all would like to ride the H2. So may I suggest you take a road trip east on your new H2, and stop by each 14 owner on this site who wants the H2 experience. Trade bikes for the ride and when you mount the H2, you will like it that much more. There a guy in Colorado, Missouri, WI,IN, and me in OH. Hagrid iz in Pittsburgh, so you could reverse his "disinterested attitude" Kofla is in Philly, but he probably too busy with anti Trump protests.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is that there is nothing to in Montana and the memories you'll have will last a lifetime.

Ya know'''that may be totally possible. We'll just have to see how things go up ahead. You're absolutely right about memories.I think I could get some fresh ones going.I mean, why not?'my crosscountry adventure seeing my 14R buds, what a gas'...all on video! My NEW gimbal setup.

Yeah I would have taken her off your hands but you would have had to give me a 15 year loan like a mortgage or something. Bad timing was all it was. I'll get one someday or something else to ad to the stable. This is a must. I gotta start earning more or maybe live without all bikes in a few years.

As remarked on another thread, I have spent a thousand dollars on Pro-bolts since 2012. I guess curbing those little needless expenditures would help. A thousand bucks in bolts on the 14....it will be interesting to see how many pounds that adds up to...

It adds up quickly and quietly. Before ya know it,there goes thousands.Spent my share for sure.Riding gear mostly.Stuff I'll never use,but seemed I needed it at the time. Some of it I NEVER used. One good jacket, one set of cold riding gear. One set of a heated system. That's really all I actually need. But I've got loads of high priced stuff that will never be used.Ridiculous.I look at it and shake my head and ask ...'why Monty?'.It's all for sale if someone needs some good quality gear...but I don't advertise it or anything.Just dumb on my part.Needless spending.

Grn, you are the most envied member on this forum. Since the passing of your parents have left you with a sizeable endowment and no responsibility, other than avoiding a DUI. You have the life most dream of. No kids, no wife, just an endless stream of motorcycles. Even if you have a sanctuary for abused squirrels in your back yard, you still dont have a boss. Just a few thought to be thankful for as we wrap up 2017.
And yes, it is alcohol talking, just found 2 more beers.

Well, I do like asking compelling questions. Like, do you think Hub still makes booty calls? And can Hubbish be used to suggest romantic overtures? Watt!
Will Hubbish make her drop panties quicker b/c she does not fully understand or slower?
I'm on my last beer.
