No dyno charts for the ZX14 "flash" but look at the ZX10 flashes, the 06-07' 08-10' and I think the 11-12
ARE ALL THE SAME CHARTS ! LOL ! Maybe someone just screwed up, but they at least need to put up a chart to see what their flash did for the 14 .....

This was all just a matter of time.
I wonder why they are only offering a very Basic Flash. Feature list shown has only two items ???? With a Name like Schnitz behind you this makes no sense.
Odd they show a 500 RPM increase on the Early gen Zx14's. I'm sure they will iron out the bugs.
Thanks for the vote of confidence guys.

I'd say they want in on the pie...yet they don't intend to rock the ECU mapping and all....their statement..."Not responsible for engine damage' kinda tells it right there....so they adjust the 'known' safe areas.I think the engine can handle 500rpm more jaunts....if used sparingly?????200 seems to be the 'norm' so far.But I have heard of 500 as well.

Pretty good deal if you ask me .. Bad part is I just ordered wooly's flash kit for my bike .. Oh well I want to do more things than they offer anyway. It's sure going to knock the wind out of Ivan's and Guhls flash ..But then again they are not doing any fueling or timing ..Looks like it will be a win win for most guys that just want to standard flash .. It's going to end up like the Busa very soon , Cheap and easy ..And one day free to all ..

The decline in value is not over. Others coming online soon, of that you can be sure. Send to China, Flash 12 dollars free shipping Not out of the Question. Brock's price next to fall, well maybe not. The name could carry it for awhile.

Great News Lee, your in. Bin file alone cost 100 dollars. Your bin file made on the Track, ram air in play, Pump Fuel Flash (H) As well as E-85 Flash (L) 1/4 mile #'s to back it up would have huge value. Dibs ?

Now that is sad for NA where the stuff gets sold but nobody can manufacture it. I don't think anyone in China is crying.
That is very sad. Lots of pics on the net of their New supper cargo ships leaving China Full(6 a day). After they unload, they leave high in the water Empty. Grrrrrr

well. not empty, actually. They're just high in the water because the return cargo is paper which is used for the packaging that contains the made in China products we buy from them. Once the products are purchased and the paper is discarded, we go about the expensive business of recycling so that we can then sell the paper to ourselves. See, it all works out!

For this price(75$) anyone know what were missing out on vs the other flash's out there?
I'm all for paying more, if I'm getting value; and at this price I almost feel I'm missing out on something.
Or do you think this flash is "good enough"? Especially if I'm getting a custom tune.

This flash is good enough if you are getting a custom tune IMO. This assumes you have already bought a power commander and are willing to spend another 300 for dyno time ?

Yes, You are missing out on a new timing map, new fueling map. Also no way for us to know how aggressive they were with secondary throttle plate opening. May be Awesome,,, but,, with no fueling map I very much doubt they would risk making it great,,,, doubt it, but No one really knows for sure ??? Disclaimer at the bottom.

hAH! that would be the most important functions of the bike ECU to change IMHO. I wouldn't bother with doing it unless I could change mapping. ...and the timing... I don't tgink there is a way to change that except for a TRE or one of those adjustable timing rotors and those are not exactly mapping for specific gears and speeds....the nonflash approaches are more to advance or retard the stock timing all across the board.

Thanks for the candid reply, Romans. What you typed is pretty much what I was thinking. All of those things I would rather have. I trust your reply to my pm, and what others have said about your flash.
I still intend to send you my ecu. I am getting a exhuast, and PC out of my insurance deal (theft recovery). The shop said that with a flash, and the brocks map as a starting point; they will throw it on the dyno and touch it up.
As soon as I get my ecu, Ill be in touch about where to send it, and how to arrange payment.
Any more word on an e-85 option?
